5Fantastic- even after 4 years of useJun 02, 2010
I have tried almost every name brand diaper out there. We have Fuzzibunz, Bumgenius, Happy Heineys, etc. And these are handdown my favorites for a number of reasons:

1) The really do fit bigger kids- my son was a chunko and these fit well
2) They also fit small kids since they have cross over snaps and you can fold down the front
3) The snaps do take a bit of getting used to but I wouldn't recommend less snaps. Once you get used to the perfect snap setting for your child its easy and having the extra snaps prevents sags and help w/ sizing.
4) After 4 years of hard use w/ two kids my original Mommy's touch diapers still look great, PUL is still waterproof, snaps still work and elastic is still in tact.
5) The prints are true PUL so just as waterproof as the solids
6) The new style w/ the extra pocket and the ability to change the tab snap setting for infants are great!!!

Just a wonderful product, I am suprised these aren't more loved.

5I love the Mommy's touch pocket diaper!Jan 18, 2010
It does seem to look big on my son. I think he's fairly small for his age though. I don't have to take the insert out of it when I wash it like some other pocket diapers I have! That is a major plus! I have not had any problems with it leaking! I really do like this diaper!

3not intuitiveOct 19, 2009
We actually haven't yet had the opportunity to use this diaper on our newborn. The sizing is not very intuitive, so I had to look it up online to figure out how to make the diaper small. Since my husband does much of the diapering, I am wondering if he will be able to utilize this one. Also, they only came with one size of insert so I do not have enough small ones to stuff it with. I would go with BG rather than this style.

2I recomend opting for an organic or all natural diaper alternativeAug 17, 2009
When I bought these diapers I was new to cloth diapering. I have had these diapers for about 9 months. At first I really loved them. They seemed really absorbent and seemed very soft when we first got them. I had looked at an organic one size AIO but thought these would be better because the fleece was so soft. Also these were a couple dollars more a peice (though, at pinstripes and polkadots they give you a discount--the more you buy the more you save). It was very important to me to have a one size and an all in one diaper as this seemed the most economical to me.

I read the reviews and most people seemed to like these. I did read one review that said these diapers stink, which I didn't understand. I thought as long as you washed them the correct way it would be fine. So, unfortunately, I put all my eggs into one basket and ordered 15 of these diapers. And like I said they were good at first. But then they started to stink, which I thought was fine, I could simply strip them and get rid of the smell. No such luck. Every time I strip them, the shorter the time in between stripping them gets. And it is SUCH a pain to do this.

Lately I have been talking to more and more people about why my diapers stink so much. Apparently, the thing that drew me to the diapers the most--the microfiber--is the thing that does these in the most. For some reason because this is a synthetic material it holds on to bacteria and the fact that the pads in it are so thick (and absorbent) it traps the bacteria between all the layers of fleece and microfiber. They stink and do not wash clean!

Also, if you want that softness of the fleece up against your babies bottom, I understand. This helps to wick away the wetness so babies don't get rashes. I have two points about the fleece--if you want it for softness, after you wash them a million times (as you have to with diapers) the fleece really won't be any softer than the organic material in the other diapers. And in fact the organic material gets SOFTER with washes. The other point is that if you want it there to wick away the moisture from baby's bottom, you can buy liners or even just purchase some fleece at the fabric store and cut it to shape into baby's diaper.

I don't usually write reviews--but I rely upon them so much. If you want a one size AIO diaper go for the bG Organic instead. I totally wish I would have bought these before spending over 300 dollars on these diapers. Don't get stuck with stinky diapers like I am!

This was my first cloth diaper and I was very confused by all the different snaps that didn't seem to line up with anything I needed but I figured it out, I think. It would have been nice if there had been some instructions though. The diaper is very soft and keeps moisture away from her skin. The included liner is really nice and works great. It seems to leak a bit more than my wrap/prefolds but it is also a little small for my child so that may be the problem. It is holding up well in the wash so far and it must be comfortable because my potty-trained daughter keeps putting it on to be like her sister and wears it all day some times and she can't undo the snaps which is another bonus. I was surprised at how easy it was to make pocket diapers and I am not that handy with a sewing machine so I will definitely not be buying more of these diapers but only because of the price. From what I can tell they are a very good diaper and will last awhile. They are very soft, haven't stained and dry quickly. I still prefer velcro though.
