 Great fastener for prefold or flatsOct 12, 2009

I've used this product for almost 5 years and have given them as gifts to people new to cloth diapering. They come looking fairly small and stiff, but if you stretch them according to the instructions they become longer and more flexible. They do not last indefinitely, but I've lost more than I've broken (maybe 2). This system is much safer in my opinion than pinning (ouch my fingers) a diaper on a wiggly kid. I tried to use prefolds and wrap style covers (Bummis) with no fastener initially and had problems with leaks. I've used Snappis with prefolds, wrap style covers with both aplix fasteners and snaps, and with pull-on covers. One of those small things in life that makes a task that you do over and over again that much easier.

Snappis make putting on a diaper so easy. You do have to be careful not to get snagged by one, it does hurt, but happens less often and certainly hurts less than being stuck by a pin! They're great. Highly recommended. They make a great gift for cloth diaper users- you can never have too many.

Wish I'd have invented this! This is a great product and a must have for the parents who have chosen to cloth diaper with prefolds or flats. It's high quality and works like an ace bandage clip.

This is one of the greatest inventions ever!! Makes cloth diapering so easy. Has a little clip at each end similar to an ace bandage (But not pointy, although they still recommend putting a diaper cover over when using these) You just clip it to one end, the other and then down the middle and the diaper stays in place. They are great and so easy. I wouldn't do without them!!

Snappis are a wonderful invention and a must have for cloth diapering. And when I say cloth diapering, I mean the traditional cotton prefolds (trifolds), not the half way G diapers, or the inserts into fancy covers. We love them, and we have way less leaks than our counterparts with baby using disposables. For all reviews saying they found it difficult to use or manage, I would be concerned. If you cannot manage these little fasteners, you have serious dexterity issues. I change my girl in the middle of the night with a dim hall light, and have never had trouble managing a Snappi onto her cloth diaper. I have no complains and don't know where I would be without these. They make cloth diapering a breeze!
