These are a little pricey, but their good quality definitely makes them worth it. It's so hard to find good quality these days. I bought 2 of these and have used them for about 6 months. They wash well and still look like new. No loose threads or other signs of wear. It's true that the white side (the soft side) faces up. It's so hard to find truly waterproof pads, but these do a great job.

Baby slept on this a lot when he was small. It is a little bulky for a travel changing pad but we loved using it at home and the larger mattress pad as a blanket to play on or for naps before he was mobile. It is very soft and good quality. Has held up for many washings.
Dual color deceiving for meadow greenJun 26, 2009
It was only meadow green on one side and white on the other (not violet as in picture). The white side is the soft one which would be facing up, so not as pretty when you are using it! But when changing diapers, that's the last thing on your mind?

very soft and cute. this maybe nice for the home but not for the diaper bag since it can't be wiped clean on the go. must be laundered if it gets dirty.

I love this changing pad as it is very soft on baby's skin. Folds up nicely for the diaper bag and I can throw it in the wash to easily clean it.
